We provide patent drafting and advice on intellectual property protection, and
pursue patent protection in your name.
Most of our work is UK patent drafting, prosecution and consultation, but we offer
equivalent services for the European and PCT systems. We are happy to give
general advice on design right, copyright, competition law IP issues and
particularly regarding trade marks.
Our drafting is full (I.e. not provisional) and hybrid, and is in accordance with UK
patent practice (which has broad international respect). By hybrid we mean that
we make particular concessions to US patent practice which may save you yet
more money in the future.
We can also arrange a patent search from the British Library and provide you
with a report on the citations for a fixed fee.
Unfortunately we do not offer invention promotion, business assessments or
business plan writing. We also don't offer post-grant patent procedures such as
litigation and do not provide drafting or legal analysis for chemistry related
patent applications.

We are not chartered, but we are very good at what we do, and as a result our
clients save thousands of pounds over industry standard tariffs.
What we charge:
Our charges are £50 per hour for professional time spent (an 80% saving on the
industry rate).
Affordable patent drafting is offered on a quotation basis.
There are no unexpected charges nor VAT, and free half hour initial
consultations are available on request.
We normally ask for payment by cheque in advance for quoted services. Online
payment is also possible with a 3% surcharge.
