Directly Download PrimoPDF - This free and very
simple tool allows you to convert word, excel and
other documents into pdf documents. To convert
them, just open the file, click file -> print... and select
the "primo printer" instead of your usual printer. The
software will then save your document as a pdf
wherever you specify.
Directly Download HJ Split - This simple free utility
can split up any file into bite-size pieces for emailing
or putting onto diskettes. Remember to include a
copy of HJ Split when sending them, so that they can
be recombined on arrival. A very small simple tool
worth having for unexpected problems transferring
files.
Directly Download Cryptainer - This freeware can
create a self decrypting e-mail attachment. Note that
to open the executable it is necessary to receive the
password separately via a phone, fax or the like.
Please note that when Microsoft Outlook 2000 is
used in conjunction with Windows XP (TM), files
ending in .exe may be blocked altogether. If you
believe that you will be unable to receive these then
please advise us to rename the file extension before
we send such a document, so that you can then
rename it back to .exe on receipt. Please be aware
that it is always possible that an emailed executable
file may be modified by a virus infected router, so it is
important to always scan all received executable files
(and all split or recombined files) with an up to date
virus scanner irrespective of the file extension.
