Patent & IP Consultation: Getting the unbiased advice you need - typically two hours
at £50/hour.

•Get a preliminary unbiased opinion on the patentability of your innovation.
•Identify suitable patenting strategies.
•Learn what you can get out of Intellectual property protection and how.

Patent drafting: Getting off the ground - (Normally provided by quotation. Completion
is typically within 4 to 6 weeks but emergency drafting is also available)

•Drafting and filing new UK patent applications.
•Drafting new EPC and PCT applications.
•Redrafting recent home-drafted filings for resubmission.
•Redrafting older home-drafted filings for later regional or international applications
claiming priority.

Patent prosecution: Negotiating obstacles along the way (Billed by the hour,
consultations if necessary)

•Advising on objections from UK, EPC and PCT examiners.
•Amending applications to meet demands of examiners.
•Providing responses to objections from examiners.

Patent searching and citation report: Identifying obstacles ahead which may assist
strategic drafting and inform your decision as to whether to proceed.

•This service includes a prior art search from the British Library research department,
and includes a report on the patentability of the innovation in light of search report
citations.
•The stages of this service include preparing text to aid the professional searcher,
reviewing the search report to identify documents which may be of interest, receiving
the relevant full documents, assessing them in light of the innovation, and reporting to
the client.
•This service is available for a fixed fee of £450 which covers the British Library
research fees of £140 to £200 pounds.

IP representation: (This may be of interest only to non-UK based IP professionals)

•Purely filing documents and passing correspondence for UK Patents, Designs and
Trademarks, as required from overseas attorneys.
